1. Overview

Teodoro Systems (“Teodoro Systems,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a software consulting firm based in Houston, TX. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through https://teodorosystems.com, through our text messaging program, and through the internal applications we operate; how we use it; and the choices you have. It applies to everyone who visits our website, contacts us, or receives text messages from us.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you give us

  • Contact details — your name and email address when you submit an inquiry through our website.
  • Project details — the project type, budget range, and timeline you select in our intake form.
  • Mobile phone number — when you or your organization enroll a number to receive automated alerts from our systems, along with a record of the consent you gave.
  • Correspondence — the content of emails and text messages you exchange with us.

2.2 Information collected automatically

When you visit our website we automatically collect standard technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and the pages you view. We use Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics for this. We do not use advertising cookies or sell this data.

2.3 Messaging metadata

When we send you a text message, our messaging provider records delivery metadata such as the sending and receiving numbers, timestamps, delivery status, and the message body, so that we can confirm delivery and troubleshoot problems.

3. How we use your information

  • To respond to your inquiries and provide our services
  • To send the automated operational alerts and account notifications you have opted in to receive
  • To operate, monitor, secure, and improve our website and internal applications
  • To keep records of messaging consent and opt-out requests, as required by law
  • To comply with our legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service

We do not use your information for third-party advertising, and we do not sell personal information.

4. Text messaging and your mobile information

We send automated, transactional text messages — such as application downtime alerts, deployment notifications, and one-time verification codes — only to numbers that have given prior express written consent. Message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, you can reply HELP for help, and you can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. Full details are in the SMS section of our Terms of Service.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

5. How we share information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only in these situations:

  • Service providers — vendors that operate our infrastructure on our behalf, including Twilio (text message delivery), Vercel (website hosting and analytics), and Google Analytics (website analytics). They may use your information only to provide services to us.
  • Legal requirements — when we are required to disclose information by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
  • Business transfers — if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

6. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here. Inquiry and correspondence records are kept for as long as our business relationship is active and for a reasonable period afterward. Records of messaging consent and opt-out requests are retained for at least four years, as required by telecommunications regulations, even after you opt out. Analytics data is retained according to our providers' standard retention windows.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices and rights

  • Stop text messages — reply STOP to any message, or email us.
  • Access, correct, or delete — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
  • Opt out of analytics — use your browser's cookie controls or the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act or the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what information we collect and the right to be free from discrimination for exercising your rights. To make a request, email hello@teodorosystems.com. We will verify your request and respond within the time period the law requires.

9. Children's privacy

Our services are intended for businesses and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. If the changes are material, we will provide additional notice.
